Historical development

Over the past fifteen years we have deployed resources in peace advocacy and activities across many communities and states of Nigeria. We have equally responded to emergency situations like COVID-19 and flood disasters in some states like Umueri in Otuocha LGA in Anambra State in 2022.

We have organized and carried out events and programs across the States of Nigeria, including Anambra, severally, Edo, Lagos, Abakaliki, Abuja, we have our member- peace Advocates across Nigeria and in other countries of the world.

Our membership strength is almost 1000 now and we hope to hit 5000 memberships in the next five years because we believe that the greater in numbers of members we have, the greater is also the impact and attainment of our global vision.
It is important to note at this point that we have been able to make positive impact on environment and society based on self- help and support of the members, we have not received any assistance or financial support from any organizations, governments or international donor agencies, neither have we been considered for any grants whatsoever.

PEPOLAC Aims & Objectives

1. To promote peaceful and positive living attitudes amongst the people of all nations.

2. To be specially concerned with all that sustains development globally and in Nigeria through the promotions of volunteerism and the mobilization of volunteers as UN Peace Advocates, so as to help our people acquire the skills, knowledge and firm commitment required to ensure peace, mutual co-operation and international solidarity.

3. To secure peace, promote human rights, establish mutual dialogue, co-operation and respect among all religions, areas, cultures, ethnic groups and nationalities.

4. To offer character education programes,through education,recognitions, awards and investitures to volunteers, as Peace Advocates, to encourage peaceful and positive living, in line with 2030 Development ideals

5. To improve the general health of the family, including youths development, teach effective farming techniques, skills, training and empowerment facilities with a view to eradicate poverty, misery, ignorance and want.

6. To educate on HIV/ AIDS prevention campaign and other social ailments.

7. To promote United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education and advocacy

9. To promote UNESCO and other UN Organs/ peace Agencies resolution on Culture of Peace projects and positive living.

10. To promote gender equality, protect the environment and preserve the planet especially on inclusive peace and justice

11.To collaborate with relevant governments and non-governmental agencies and organizations in promotions of peaceful and positive living.

PEPOLAC being a reputable organization have held her peace awareness programs and events in most parts of the World.
Inducted over 500 peace advocates from all over the world, intervened with palliatives to people who were victims of disasters.
